Flood Monitoring by L.B. Foster is a wireless system that monitors flood water in flood-prone areas. The Inline Flood Pole precisely measures water levels down to the inch, providing the ability to preset alarms at various depths.
Once activated, (optional) solar-powered cameras are triggered to identify the alarm area, initiating a customer emergency response to prevent flooding derailments.

Total Track Monitoring by L.B. Foster features sophisticated data management software. Event data resulting from flooding is captured, stored, and analyzed, providing detailed intelligence on event regularity and severity. This allows system operators to build a detailed event profile and identify actions to prevent or offset future events.
System Operations
Two Flood Alarm Levels: Flood Water Warning and Flood Water Alarm.
Local Relay Outputs: Triggered when water hits the Flood Water Warning level at the base of the pole and again at the user-adjustable Flood Water Alarm Point.
Operational Monitoring: The system's status is monitored locally by the Master Node and remotely by the cloud server.
Outbound Network Connection and CCTV Camera (Optional):
If water is detected at the Flood Water Warning Point, the system sends a Flood Water Warning email with photos to the nominated operation staff member.
If the water level reaches the Flood Water Alarm Point, a Flood Water Alarm email with photos is sent to the nominated operation staff member.
If the system fails to receive adequate data or communications, a Condition Status Alert email is sent to the nominated operation staff member.
