The rehabilitation on the United States side of the privately owned Ambassador Bridge that reaches across the Detroit River, connecting Detroit, MI, USA, with Windsor, ON, CAN, has been progressing rapidly.

A credit to teamwork between the owner, contractor, supplier, engineering firm, and installer. The bridge owner, Detroit International Bridge Company (DIBC), acted as the general contractor. L.B. Foster as the supplier, bridge engineering firm Modjeski and Masters and the installer, Toebe Construction, were able to work as a cohesive team to minimize potential disruptions to the schedule by quickly resolving any design, fabrication and installation issues. The project has been extended to include a portion of the Canadian side. More to come on that. For now, here is the progress.
