L.B. Foster Custom Pipe Coating Facility Receives ISO Certification

In recognition of its quality management and product manufacturing processes, L.B. Foster has received its ISO 9001: 2015 Certification from Registrar, British Standards Institute (BSI) for its Protective Coatings facility in Willis, Texas.
The principles of the ISO 9001: 2015 standard are specifically designated to recognize manufacturing companies like L.B Foster who have implemented quality management systems that ensure consistent production of high-quality products, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. The Company’s Willis, TX plant coats unique steel products of most sizes ranging from ½” through 72” with Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE), liquid epoxy, and other protective coatings. “Earning this new ISO 9001: 2015 certification further strengthens our position in the market by ensuring that product and service quality are an integral part of L.B. Foster’ strategic program,” comments Jerry Holmes, Senior Quality Manager.
