Anti-Trespass Panels Installed in Ontario

Metrolinx, a transit agency that operates in the Golden Horseshoe region of Ontario, recently became the first Canadian transit operator and the largest transit system in North America to install the Company’s Anti-Trespass Panels (ATP).
L.B. Foster acts as the North American distributor of UK-based Rosehill Rail’s ATPs and grade crossing panels. Ease of installation, a 15-year warranty, and effective deterrence of trespassers have been cited as key reasons for the use of the ATPs. For example, a recent study by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) showed that the use of ATPs resulted in a 38% reduction in pedestrian trespass onto railroad right-of-ways.
