Jump forward 40 years and, unlike Nottingham Forest or Art Garfunkel, Phil’s continued success has seen him rise through the ranks to head of marketing for L.B. Foster Europe. He says: “I know it’s a cliche, but it only seems like yesterday that I stepped through the door at TEW Engraving. I’ve seen a lot of changes over the years - none more so than followingn TEW’s acquisiiton by L.B. Foster in 2015.
“That has opened up amazing opportunities for me - trips to the US to meet colleagues, international exhibitions and overseeing the creation of a new brand expression for the business.
“I’m surrounded by a team of great people and I love what I do. Seems to be the perfect recipe for keeping me young!”
