CXT® has the capability to manufacture a wide range of products to provide a single-source partner for projects of any size or scope.
Our focus is not only on the products we manufacture, but also on customer service. Our in-house engineering team collaborates with you to determine the specific needs of the project to tailor a custom solution to get the job completed efficiently. Also, our quality control department ensures the completed product is of the highest quality.
Storm Drain
Precast concrete stormwater systems are vital to managing excessive water flow. Our products are sized to channel runoff from heavy rain to nearby bodies of water. Products made from other materials may struggle, while our precast concrete solutions excel, capable of withstanding both the volume of water flowing through them as well as external load conditions. Since precast concrete is made from natural materials, it is also environmentally friendly, making it a sustainable solution that moves water without negatively affecting water quality.
Sanitary
We offer a diverse line of sanitary precast concrete products that are engineered for the highest quality and durability. Each product is watertight, ensuring decades of reliable service. Our sanitary products are ideally suited for a range of infrastructure applications and are available in both standard and custom configurations.
Manholes
Precast circular vertical structures can be used for stormwater management or best-management-practice structures. Circular manholes and vertical structures can also be provided with precast invert channels.
Applications
Changes in direction of pipe
Changes in pipe shape
Changes in pipe size
Custom openings
Custom tops
Flexible watertight pipe-to-manhole connections
Junctions for multiple pipes
Observation points
Overflow structures for ponds
Access to the system for maintenance
Protective linings
Specifications
AASHTO M198 — Joints for Circular Concrete Sewer and Culvert Pipe Using Flexible Watertight Gaskets
ASTM C1244 — Standard Test Method for Concrete Sewer Manholes by the Negative Air Pressure (Vacuum) Test
ASTM C443 — Joints for Circular Concrete Sewer and Culvert Pipe Using Rubber Gaskets
ASTM C478 / AASHTO M199 — Precast Reinforced Concrete Manhole Sections
ASTM C923 — Resilient Connectors Between Reinforced Concrete Manhole Structures and Pipes
Joints
Confined O-ring rubber gasket
Preformed mastic or butyl gasket
Single offset with profile rubber gasket
Precast Junction Boxes
Used to provide service access and to achieve changes in pipe size, type, or direction. They are also useful for changes in elevation or merging two or more upstream pipes into a single larger downstream pipe.
Handholes
Switchgear vaults
Telecom and transformer pads
Tunnel and trench sections
Rebuilt manhole replacements
Headwall and Wingwall Systems
Usually connected structurally to the adjacent conduit.
Applications
Where appearance of the pipe end is important
When flow must be channeled into or out of a conduit
Where the conduit enters or exits finished grade
When the earth embankment surrounding the pipe must be retained
When the exposed pipe ends pose a danger to traffic
