On August 14, 2026, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum celebrated their new Cortez restroom building with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
L.B. Foster's subsidiary, CXT® Inc., donated and installed a Cortez concrete restroom building to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington, PA on July 21, 2025. Read more about the donation here. The ceremony officially unveiled the Cortez restroom and celebrated their new pavilion.
In addition to the restroom building donation, CXT also provided the precast concrete trench drains for the pavilion. The new pavilion will offer a space for local education such as school field trips, and a private event space that the museum can rent out for birthday parties, reunions, and weddings. When it is not being rented for a private event, the pavilion is open to anyone who purchases a ticket to the PA Trolley Museum to use as a spot to eat a packed lunch or wait for the trolley.
The ribbon was cut by Camera Bartolotta, Senator, Electra Janis, Washington County Commissioner, Jeanine DeBor, Executive Director and CEO, PA Trolley Museum, Michael Kendlick, President, PA Trolley Museum, and Harlan Sober, Chartiers Township Supervisor.
At the event, Jeanine thanked L.B. Foster, CXT, and John Kasel, President and CEO, for the restroom building donation and continued generosity to the museum.
We are proud to support the PA Trolley Museum and are honored to have been able to provide a restroom building that will serve their guests for generations to come. Thank you to everyone involved in the Cortez restroom building and concrete trench drains donation to the museum.
