Congratulations to Ronnie Knight, Production Worker IV, who is celebrating his 31st work anniversary with CXT® Inc., a subsidiary of L.B. Foster.

Ronnie began his career with CXT on November 23, 1993. At the time, he was working at a local sawmill in West Virginia when he heard that CXT was hiring and applied for the position. Since then, Ronnie has worked as a laborer at our Waverly, WV location. This site manufactures a wide range of precast concrete products for the energy, utility, and agricultural markets in West Virginia, Ohio, and southwestern Pennsylvania. Some of our products include precast bridge beam, box culverts, concrete septic tanks, and agricultural products such as freezeproof waterers and feed bunks.
Over the last 31 years, Ronnie has worked on the standard precast concrete product lines, custom product lines, and has helped with bridge production. He can build manholes, inlets, and the many different custom products we offer such as wingwalls, vaults, and boxes.
When asked about the changes he has experienced working the past 31 years Ronnie said, “I have seen many changes at CXT over the years, but most importantly I have seen the improvement of morale on the production floor.”
His favorite projects to work include manufacturing manholes, inlets, and custom vaults. In a true testament to his work ethic, Ronnie stated “I don’t face any challenges during my workday. I show up every day and do my job.”
Ronnie has only worked one other job, which was at the sawmill 32 years ago. He enjoys working for CXT, with his most memorable moment each year being the company cornhole tournament that he participates in during safety week. Ronnie has worked for CXT for 31 years because he enjoys the people he works with, and believes it is a good place to work.

Outside of work, Ronnie and his wife of 18 years, Traci, live in St. Mary’s, WV. He has four stepsons, two daughters, and 6 grandkids that he enjoys spending time with.
“Ronnie is a model employee. He shows up to work every day, even when he doesn’t feel like it. He always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face. He has a strong work ethic and produces a high-quality product. He helps other team members who may not have the knowledge or experience that he does. He sets a good example to all other employees here at CXT,” said Jason Norman, General Manager, Waverly.
Congratulations on your achievement, Ronnie and thank you for the experience, insight, and dedication you bring to the Company every day.
