L.B. Foster's Second Rockfall Monitoring Informational Webinar to be Held by Will Becker, Technology Sales Engineer

Rockfall Monitoring by L.B. Foster is an innovative solution that uses LiDAR to accurately detect rocks or debris that would obstruct the safe travel of the train in areas prone to rockfall landslide hazards.

During the second Rockfall Monitoring Informational Webinar, we will look at the performance results of Rockfall Monitoring compared to a traditional slide fence over a one-year trial period with a major railroad. The slide fence used by the railway was not able to detect the two out of the three true events that occurred during the trial period, challenging the claim that slide fences are inherently safe.
