Passive Monitoring

L.B. Foster's Passive Monitoring Solutions are designed for asset owners, to prevent accidents and damage to people, assets and services. Our solutions are used in infrastructure, energy, and power generation industries.

Flood Monitoring

Uses capacitance sensor technology such as flood poles, solar-powered base stations and optional high-definition CCTV to detect water presence and depth. That provides instant footage to enable real-time mitigation strategies to be implemented.

Bridge Strike Monitoring

Our system uses HD CCTV cameras to display bridge conditions on-demand, including leading edge and under-beam damage and deck displacement. Facilitating prompt inspections, reducing operational costs, and ensuring effective real-time monitoring. Bridge Strike Monitoring covers the structure itself. Where the concern is an object falling from that structure onto the line below, Falling Object Detection monitors the track beneath bridges and overpasses.
