An update about what L.B. Foster is doing to protect and serve our staff, suppliers and customers.
We at L.B. Foster (Europe) are firmly committed to delivering our services and solutions to the highest possible standard, without putting the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, suppliers or customers at risk. We understand the importance of co-operating with our stakeholders during times of uncertainty to create assurance that the right procedures are in place to ensure the safe continuation of business.
We are all facing a dynamic and difficult situation in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our families, friends, customers, employees, and communities are all dramatically affected by the impact of the virus and its impact on the global economy. During this time, we wanted to reach out and tell you how LB Foster Europe is responding to the situation.
Along with so many others, we are prioritising the safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate. We are diligently following the recommendations from the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Some of our teams are already working from home, with many more ready appropriately prepared as the situation unfolds. We have also eliminated all non-essential travel for the time being. This means that our touchpoints with people outside our organisation are digital, wherever possible, for the foreseeable future; in today’s world this is a minor adjustment and we plan to make every effort to minimize disruption.
Our sales team remains available to help customers and all our operations are continuing as normal at this time. We will continue to watch carefully for new developments as the situation unfolds and if required, we will adapt our policies accordingly.
